This family session from a beautiful day last summer should help you warm up as you watch the snow falling outside… I love wildflower season, and really can’t wait to be walking around in these fields again.

One of my favorite sessions from 2010 for two reasons… this is one of my favorite locations, and one of my favorite families. Photographing their family as their sweet daughters grow has been a real treat!

This little darling enjoyed his first photo session at 5 weeks old.

I love sweet sleepy babies… I think his mama & I said “awww…” a few dozen times! This cute hat was knit by a loving relative.

Shooting a session in the family’s home works so well for a newborn shoot. It’s nice for mom & baby to be comfortable because newborn sessions take time. Time for changings, feedings, cuddling, flossing… FLOSSING?? I turned around to see what big brother was up to behind me, and he was deep in concentration with a whole lot of dental floss. ADORABLE.

Sweet Millie is one year old!

It has been a pleasure photographing this little darling over the past year. Sleeping newborn, tummy time, sitting up, crawling, standing, and now just about ready to walk. It is really amazing what babies learn in their first year!

Millie is such a joy! Her smiles and giggles will make you laugh with her. She has always been so engaging, even at two weeks old, she looked into your eyes and had so much to say!

Can you believe she smiled at the camera and put her hand on her heart? Seriously Millie, you are the sweetest little gal! Happy Birthday!
